Marissa and The Evil Math Teacher of DOOOOOM

Sitting in the back of class, my feet tapping on the floor, hoping that Mrs. Dumfart, my evil teacher, wouldn't call on me. 4th period, complete torture. "IT'S NOT A COMPLEMENTARY ANGLE, IT'S A SUPPLEMENTARY ANGLE!" screeched Mrs. Dumfart, disgusting spit spraying at the unfortunate victims in the first and second row. Watching the clock, it seems like it hadn't moved since class had started and I had entered the torture room. All of a sudden, chills went down my spine as I heard a raspy, 80 year old, infested voice screaming my name.

"Marissa! Get up your tushy and come to the front of the room and answer questions 1 to 25 NOW!"

Reluctantly, I got up to the front of the class and started working to problems on the board, trying to make everything perfect in fear of getting in trouble and having to spend yet another, lonely lunch period in the torture room getting lectures about studying every night. I made it through the first 4 problems before I heard the dreaded "INCORRECT! That's another 10 problems for you! And you all are not leaving my room before this little girly here gets them all right!"

"Oh dear, I thought. I'll be in this animal cage forever! Everyone in my class is going to hate me now. And what will Jason think of me? OMG, and it's all because of Mrs. Dumfart. Wait, is someone calling my name...?"

"Pssst! Marissa!" I turned and saw Tina with a piece of paper. Since she was in the first row and Mrs. Dumfart had her back turned, Tina was able to shove the paper in my face.

Tina was a really smart girl and a good friend of mine. So when I opened the note, I wasn't surprised at what I saw. Tina had given me the answers to the problems I was supposed to be solving. I quickly tried to stuff the paper in my pocket before Mrs. Dumfart saw me, but I was just a second too late before those eagle eyes of hers spotted something white sticking out of my pocket.

"Marissa, what is that? I demand to take a look at that peice of paper!"

Trying to keep an inocent look on my face, I had no choice but to hand over the note.

As Mrs. Dumfart read over the note, I watched as she started to huff and puff and blow down the entire class! Smoke started fuming out of her ears and nostrills and her entire face got wrinkly and red. But soon her anger turned into a state of mischeviousness and she seemed calm and almost like a nice teacher. I knew that couldn't be a good sign, it meant she was up to no good.

"Marissa, would you like to read this out loud. Oh wait, your opinion doesn't matter. Read it anyway."

So I got up and read the note, which wasn't that bad until I came to the las part, which was Tina's signature. "And the last part is...umm..." I glanced at Tina, not wanting to embarass her by reading the last part. She was one of my best friends, so I did the right thing and sacrificed not getting another detention for her sake, because the last part which was something personal, which I would never want to unveal.. So, here goes, I thought. "And that's it. There's nothing more on the note."

"Nonsense!" screeched Mrs. Dumfart. "I read the note, and there is another, juicy, part at the end. But if you just want to be a good friend to Tina, then that's your problem. But for now, you will have to suffer another detention with the one, the only, ME!" Mrs. Dumfart let out an evil cackle "MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH!" and for a slight second, I felt that I had made the wrong desision, until i saw the look on Tina's face. She looked like she was about to cry from happiness, and she was looking at me like she would love me forever and ever. She mouthed the words I OWE YOU to me, and I winked. Then, I knew that I had made the right decision, and it put a smile on my face.

Then, the angels started singing as the bell made its sweet sound. "Ahhh, at last!"

For once in a lifetime, Mrs. Dumfart let us out of class on time since she had given 12 detentions in 45 minutes, so she felt some sympathy.

Even though I still have a few more detentions I have to go to, I feel good because I had done the right thing and had made it through another 4th period.

omg that was really good!!!! It was so funny and creative! Maybe you can continue this but it can be of Marissa in detention or you can just start another day. It could almost be like Marissa is writing down how her day went in a diary!!! Hope those suggestions helped!
